More fried goodness

So perhaps I need to go on some sort of hiatus from fried seafood from the North Shore. I seriously cannot get enough. Fried clams, fried scallops, fried calamari, fried scrod – you name it, if its breaded and fried I will probably eat it.

Essex Seafood

So our last trip was to Essex Seafood in dun dun dun, Essex, Mass. It’s right near all of the other tourist traps, but Essex Seafood is something special. It’s super unassuming, has great prices and huge portions. Since there were four of us dining we decided to order copious amounts of fried goodness.

One of the best things about this great local establishment is that its BYOB. Yep, you read that right folks. BYOB! We sat down with a bucket of summer ale (courtesy of my love muffin) and literally chowed down. Highly recommend visiting one of these establishments before the summer is over. Oh, and if you go, please let me know. I’ll come meet you…because obvi I’m obsessed.
